Dr. Beacha.k.a. Dr. Stephen P. LeathermanDr. Stephen P. Leatherman is the Director of Florida International University's Laboratory for Coastal Research. He has been featured in several publications and has appeared on the Today Show. We here at KeepofftheDunes.com think Dr. Leatherman has a great outlook toward the beach "Beaches are the number one recreational destination for Americans. These sandy playgrounds that line our coasts are the most extensive natural parks in the country. Nothing restores the body and soul like a stay at the beach.
